Clinical Analysis of Diabetic Retinopathy for Diabetics Treated with a Insulin Infusion Pump

Abstract

|
I reviewed 438 diabetics who were treated with a insulin pump and consulted to ophthalmol ogy department from March, 1998 to February, 1999. Diabetic retinopathy were analysed according to variable factors such as type of diabetes mellitus, duration of diabetes mellitus, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc) level. Prevalence of diabetic retinopathy was not significant
ly associated with type of diabetes millitus. Severity of diabetic retinopathy was not significantly associated with durationn of diabetes mellitus and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) level.
